Which payment method should I choose?

Difference between payment institution and virtual bank POS, payment on delivery and money transfer options; Which one is appropriate in which situation?

There are two basic ways to collect a card: using a payment institution or directly connecting your bank's virtual POS. The right choice depends on your turnover volume and management preference.

payment institution

Organizations such as iyzico, PayTR, N Kolay and Garanti BBVA Tami allow you to accept cards from many banks with a single connection. The start-up process is fast and installment management is done from a single panel. The commission rate is usually slightly higher than the bank POS.

This is generally the most practical option for stores that are just starting out or whose monthly turnover has not yet been established.

Bank virtual POS

You make a merchant agreement directly with your bank. The commission rate may be lower; In return, you need to manage a separate process for each bank and follow the installment campaigns yourself.

The commission difference creates significant savings in stores whose monthly turnover reaches a certain volume.

Other methods

  • Wire Transfer / EFT — commission-free but payment control is manual
  • Cash on delivery — increases conversion for customers who do not trust cards, return rate may be higher

Tip

Keeping multiple methods open at the same time is a common and recommended approach. The customer chooses the one that suits him/her, and you will not experience any loss of conversion.

You can find the installation steps on the relevant page in the integration directory. If you are not sure which method is suitable for you, we can evaluate together in the demo meeting according to your turnover.
